My Project
'Mathematics may not teach us to add love or subtract hate, but it gives us hope that every problem has a solution.' -Anonymous. Using Beast Academy math problems, students are taught to use higher-order thinking skills and how to think critically. It challenges students to think outside the box while integrating literacy and math.
As my students use their math skills to creatively solve problems using engaging textbooks that are graphic novels, they will be able to develop the skills to think at higher levels while at the same time enjoying their lessons.
These unique and highly engaging materials will challenge my students to go beyond their everyday lessons and apply their critical thinking and reasoning skills. Using these problem, my students are able to persevere though problems and gain skills that gain that can be used in any field of study.
