it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing and are now enjoying reading. I work with students in a small group setting who have not passed the year end reading test last year. My main job is to get the kids to improve in reading and enjoy reading.
I have requested 15 copies of the novel, "Freak The Mighty." As we read this book, we will discuss vocabulary, bullying, friendship, being different, and the challenges some students face living in a broken home.
We will read each chapter and discuss the plot and make real life connections.
