My Students

My students are from a large, urban community that welcomes families from all backgrounds. They bring a blend of diversity, prior experiences, and culture to our school. I teach in a Kindergarten inclusion classroom where several of my students receive special education services for a range of disabilities, including intellectual, emotional, autism spectrum disorder, and many other specific learning disabilities. Many of my students also receive ESL services. The majority of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.

They are a fun-loving hard-working group of students that are eager to learn and grow!

My Project

This year has been challenging and I want my students to some fun gifts to close out this tough school year together.

As we prepare to close out our Kindergarten year together and get ready to move onto First Grade, I want to be able to give my students a few small gifts to brighten their summer.

My students have worked so hard this year through remote, hybrid, and in-person learning. I would love to leave my students with a fun and exciting gift to celebrate their successes through all of the challenges they have faced this year. The gifts I am requesting include snacks like Goldfish, Swedish Fish, sidewalk chalk, beach balls, bubbles, jump ropes, masks, and gift bags. All of these supplies will help give students fun things to do over the summer.
