My Project
My students are particularly interested to helping the ocean and animals. They are aware of the amount of trash that ends up harming ocean life. I would like to provide them with the awareness of how much of an impact we make by the amount of plastic and trash we create. My goal is to teach them how they can make small changes at school and home and have them think 'What if everyone thinks that'? They will see the power they have and how much they can help our community by teaching friends and family how much of an impact we have. With the help of individual white boards, Expo markers, pencils and various colored paper, my students will be able to explore the wide range of unlimited ideas to start the plastic awareness campaign! I will add to their background knowledge and encourage their ideas with the read aloud about saving the ocean and environment!
