This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every morning we begin our day with our rules and procedures to keep being a very good class at school. They know the meaning of classroom management and how effective it is for everyone. Teachers can work efficiently, and students are ready to learn every single lesson!
My students are the most diverse group of kids.
Most of them belong to a Title I school and some of the families do not speak English at home. Despite the adversities, my students are eager to come to school to learn every single lesson. They are becoming great students because of the effort they are making while attending all our classes.
I am requesting practice books which will help students develop skills in reading and math, from comprehending literature and informational texts independently to solving math problems, demonstrating command of standard English grammar and usage conventions when writing or speaking, determining, or clarifying the meaning of unknown and multiple-meaning words and phrases, and participating in collaborative conversations with diverse partners. Closing gaps in language is required to solve math problems, so these two types of books are a must in a classroom.
Engagement begins with offering learning tools to all students in class. I can visualize my students making a difference when closing gaps in language to rock in math skills. Help me reach this goal, please.
