This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you love to dance? The students at my school love dancing. It is a great way for them to release energy and get some great exercise.

My school has almost 1,900 students.

Our students come to school everyday excited to learn new things. They love coming to our gym even though we don't have much room for them to move around. One thing that doesn't require much space that they love doing is DANCING! They can move their bodies and increase their heart rate! They are getting exercise that they need to help their bodies and their minds!

My Project

We need an ipod Nano and speaker system. This way the students can dance and move to different songs without the problems of a traditional radio that uses CD's that skip when they get scratched. We will be dancing for our health without interruptions.

I love to see the smiling faces of our students when they are exercising in a fun way!

The activities that we use with music also make the children exercise longer as they love jumping rope and hula hooping to music. This project will be helping our students stay healthy for life!
