Help me give my students some awesome crystal growing kits for science, a great class game, gloves for winter, some fun class prizes, headphones, a pencil sharpener, and a TPT gift card to help with curriculum.
Kids need to understand that learning can be fun! I am asking for a variety of resources to show them this! I want to accomplish this by showing them how to create crystals. I know this hands-on project will excite them while they're learning at the same time. I would also like a cool classroom learning game the kids can play to show them that games aren't always on a computer. I want to get them some gloves for winter as I know some of my students can't afford these on their own. Headphones are another thing some of my students can't afford but are extremely necessary. The class prizes will be used as a disciplinary tool in my room where they can earn them by doing good things. The TPT gift card will be so helpful in helping expand and plan my curriculum. We have several new programs we have to learn this year and the TPT gift card will enable me to purchase math and science curriculum materials.
Growing Crystals in our classroom will help my students experience how matter changes from a liquid to a solid state in a creative, exciting way and I know this experience will be a highlight of the year and students won't forget how cool it was.
