My Students

I have been teaching for almost 20 years. I have been working with students with special needs and love seeing their smiles when they make progress. Each student has their own unique set of needs that require their own set of unique curriculum materials. Theses students find joy in the littlest of things and providing new materials is exciting for them as well as me. They are truly special to me and our school family. Thank you very much .

My Project

These materials are needed in order to create individual curriculum for special needs student’s. File folders will be made for each child to address individual goals the student is working on. Students work on thing such as shapes, colors, number concepts, and letters. They also have basic skills that are taught through the use of social stories. These social stories include things such as how to brush your teeth, how to say hello, or visiting the dentist. All of these items have to be created and made specific to each child. These materials will help students make progress on goals.
