My Project
It is never too early to start becoming financially literate. My preschoolers and practicing counting, subitizing and exploring number games. This is an important first step in becoming financially literate. During morning experiences and choice times, my students like to use hands-on manipulatives to practice working on counting, sorting and recognizing numerals and various quantities. I am requesting magnetic number and color mazes, books, ten frames and more!
Financial literacy is key to helping young people manage money effectively so that they can become financially stable, build assets and achieve their personal goals.
The counting games I requested can help develop our students' understanding of valuable financial strategies and concepts. Engaging, educational games teach kids the basics of investing, earning, spending and cash flow. We would like to practice counting all throughout the day, even snack time. Goldfish crackers have become a classroom favorite and we would love to add an exploration in numbers during our snack time.
