My Students

My students are in a low-income community with little supplies at home. They are eager to learn and need the proper materials while they are home. We are creating weekly activity forms for the children however it is hard to plan activities not knowing what my students have access to. My students all live in the city. They love learning while at school. While at home they have limited supplies to continue their love of learning.

My Project

I am requesting a learning pack for each of my 17 students in my classroom. I have 10 going to Kindergarten and would love to give them each the transitioning to Kindergarten pack. For the other 7 that will stay with me another year I would love to give them a counting pack to use while learning at home. This is such a crazy time and the last thing I want the parents in my classroom to worry about is not having supplies at home for their children to use.

With these learning packs the children can continue with their sorting and counting math skills.

They will also have a book they can read and discuss. With these hands on materials they can learn and have fun at home!
