This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students the ability to have the items we need to continue to successfully learn. The Chromebooks have been an amazing addition to the counseling department. We use them for presentation, for Movie Club, for students to do HW, and submit paperwork and their assignments. As the Chromebooks move around the school building, the chargers get misplaced.

Technology is such an important tool in a student's life.

So many electronics use the same chargers now that they can easily be confused with someone else's chargers. When students take a laptop to do work, they bring the computer back without the charger. It is important to have a few extras so students can continue to use the laptops as we hunt down the other chargers.

I am planning to label the new chargers to make sure that they will be returned to the correct department in the future.
