Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students these days have many devices and these devices are essential to learn in today's classroom. Students come to class with cell phones, district given laptops, and many times need to charge their devices.
Many students cross the U.S.
and Mexico border (as we are a border city) starting two to three hours before school begins. By the time they get to school, they need to charge their devices. Depending on the age of their district given laptop, some keep the charge long and some do not.
We use devices in our classroom as the basis of our activities, lessons, and information. The courses use an electronic textbook and we use a website platform. In a dual language classroom, using a device is essential to translating documents.
Please help me to ensure a student never has a device low on battery. Let's charge it, to learn it!
