This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are....well, they are surviving. Most of them are still trying to successfully adjust to Distance Learning since they are home-bound where they are surrounded by distractions like younger siblings, tempting technology, and extended family. With your help, they will no longer be surviving, but they will once again be thriving!

My Project

Unbelievably, many of my students do not have their own pencils, paper, scissors, or glue at home. I was a very crafty and curious child who was always busy building with cardboard and other recycled materials. I simply cannot imagine what it's like to not have my own every-day school supplies available to me whenever I need them.

With your help, I will be able to make simple school-supply care packages for my students.

I just know that when I pull up outside of their home with a bag full of goodies, they are going to feel like Christmas has come early this year.
