My Project

My students are an amazing group of curious, creative, and kind-hearted second graders who love to learn through hands-on experiences. They bring joy and energy to our classroom every day, and their excitement for learning makes every project special. I want to create a winter celebration that not only spreads joy but also strengthens their teamwork, creativity, and fine motor skills through meaningful, fun activities.

This project will provide students with materials to create, explore, and celebrate learning together in a joyful and memorable way.

The winter-themed craft kits, snowman and snow globe projects, gingerbread house making, and stationery sets will encourage them to express their creativity and practice following directions. The fidget toys and slime will give them a sensory outlet to help with focus and regulation. The candy canes, pens, and goodie bags will make the celebration feel extra magical while fostering a sense of community and gratitude. Even the teacher bag will help me stay organized and carry schoolwork and graded papers between home and school—because a teacher’s work truly never ends.

My goal for this project is to create an experience that blends joy with learning. My students are special because they show such enthusiasm for every opportunity to learn and grow, no matter how big or small. Many of them thrive when learning feels hands-on and personal, and these materials will help me provide that experience. With your support, we can make this winter celebration one that fills our classroom with creativity, laughter, and the spirit of giving.
