Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, we respect and enjoy learning about everyone's culture. We learn that despite being different, we share many things in common. I currently change our dramatic play area monthly to meet the different celebrations that occur throughout the year.
In our dramatic play area, the students get to role play and pretend to be chefs and cook different foods from other cultures.
It is for this reason that I am requesting a variety of Chinese Dragon Phoenix Qipao Cheongsam Dresses and 2 Shinymoon Boy Tang Suit Sets. I would like my students to dress up and experience the Chinese Culture. In addition, I am also asking if mini lights and table clothes to decorate our classroom for our special Chinese New Celebration. The students will set up the classroom and recreate an experience form one of our read aloud.
In our classroom, we respect and enjoy learning about everyone's culture. Help me provide my students with these beautiful Chinese Dresses so that my students can wear them in our dramatic play area and also for our Chinese New Year celebration.
