My Project
I am a kindergarten through fifth grade special education teacher. I work with students who are diagnosed with autism, and other cognitive and behavioral disorders. Some of my students have behavioral problems that interfere with his/her learning. These students must be calmed down and redirected before they can continue learning. Therefore, having sensory items in my calming corner will ensure that the necessary tools are available when they are needed. Your generous donation will make it possible for my students to receive the therapeutic intervention necessary for continued learning. The tissues are needed to wipe runny noses during the cold and flu season and when they cry. Thank you in advance for your generous donation and support.
