This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students don’t always have the language to express their ideas. They are an energetic bunch with a love for learning. With your donations of materials that will help develop their senses like magnetic tiles, you will be allowing my students to reach their academic goals while showing their creativity in a fun way with the use of hands-on manipulatives.
Hands-on is the way for young children to learn.
When in school, children love to touch and explore every inch in the classroom. I want to provide my students with the same opportunities as well as activities, that will keep them engaged in learning all day long at home.
I am requesting magnetic sets which will be used to teach kids concepts in the areas like physics and architecture through the building. They will be used to build special creations, all based on individual students' knowledge and imagination. I am also requesting a new set of musical instruments to replace the broken ones in our music area. Sticker paper will be used to print symbols to label individual materials, so the students can easily find them. While most of our families don't have the means to provide their children with the right tools to reach their academic abilities, with your help, we can make this a special gift for them to take home and have for the holidays to enjoy with their parents and their siblings while learning.
