Let's Build on the Basics...

Help me give my students the basics they need to support their hands on and visual learning. These basics, such as whiteboards and dry erase markers, help students share their problem solving, thinking, and point of view.

My Project

Using whiteboards help students express their own thinking or ideas without feeling anxious as it is simple to erase and begin again. As a bonus, this is a more ecologically sound way to be able to use over and over again, rather than wasting paper.

This goes directly to building perseverance with problem solving, synthesizing, and thinking critically.

Additionally, the folders and "pieces you'll need" magnets help with executive function and knowing what you need to be successful for each assignment. Folders also play a crucial role in communication between school and home. If students have a consistent system to use for that communication, then it leads to success!
