My Project
Our Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is excited to launch a hands-on project where students will build birdhouses as part of their learning experience in home improvement and landscaping.
Through this project, students will gain valuable skills in design, woodworking, and outdoor aesthetics, all while fostering creativity and a deeper appreciation for nature.
By working on these DIY birdhouses, our young students will explore simple construction techniques, learning to use tools safely and develop fine motor skills. Additionally, they’ll gain an understanding of landscaping by considering where their birdhouses might best fit in a garden or yard setting. These lessons will not only inspire creativity but also provide early exposure to essential life skills.
