Let's Bring Some Life Essentials to Incredible Students
My students need Life Essentials such as a broom, dust pan, soap, hand sanitizer, clorox disinfecting wipes, lysol disinfecting spray and boxes of facial tissue.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Have you ever sat in a classroom that lack basic Life Essentials such as a broom, dust pan, hand sanitizer, soap, Clorox disinfecting wipes, and lastly boxes of tissue. Without these basic Life Essentials, learning is not adequate. A clean environment is needed to maximize students' learning.
My students are 2nd graders in an urban district, whom lack the basic Life Essentials.
Many of my students receive free lunch and parental support is sometimes non-existent. Since many of our students are labeled disadvantaged, our school has created a close-knit environment that helps students thrive despite their economical level status.
My Project
Due to pay cuts, I lack the funds to purchase the necessary Life Essentials for my students. In addition to pay cuts, our school district financial stability is in the red. So, I am asking for these basic Life Essentials for my students is not an option at this time. Thus, I am creating this project so my students can receive the basic Life Essentials that will allow them to be in a clean sanitized environment.
So, you may ask how will this project improve my classroom and change my students' lives for the better.
First of all, every child deserves to be educated in a clean environment that minimizes germs. Secondly, the learning environment needs tools such as a broom and dust pan, which eliminates the pigsty stigma. With this in mind, lets bring basic Life Essentials to my little ones.
