Help me give my students the opportunity to learn sciences through hands-on experiments! Our students are from a low-income community. Unfortunately our school does not have access to these interactive activities.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Everett is a low income city. A majority of my students come from ELL homes or are recent immigrants to the United States. My students come from all over the world and are here to create better lives for themselves and their families. I learn from my students every day! My students are eager to learn the American English language and want to make a difference for themselves and others around them. They have such beautiful stories and they all want to be given a chance! They are kind and are willing help others at school. While they may not speak English, they are motivated to learn and contribute what they can to class discussions.
My Project
Our school is a dynamically diverse school with students from all walks of life. These students are so motivated to learn and want to be part of all the activities in class. These science experiments will allow students the opportunity to learn science hands on! Studies have shown that when students are active participants in their education through hands-on experiments they are able to recall more during tests and exams.
By purchasing four sets of experiments, you will be giving each student a special opportunity to engage in learning about science.
These sets will mean that each student in the 5th will have the same experience by practicing what they have learned in science class.
Thank you for taking the time to look at our project!
