This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching little ones about the history of the earth can be a bit abstract, so using STEM projects to make it fun, engaging, and captivating is a must.

Learning about the layers of the earth is a topic that helps students have a better understanding of our planet, from the core to the surface, and all living things.

The earth posters and 3D model will help my little ones better understand the layers of the earth. We'll also learn about fossils and their importance in giving us knowledge about the history of living things on earth, so we'll become paleontologists using the modeling clay and fossil kits to go on a dinosaur dig. We'll learn how rocks and minerals are taken from the earth’s crust to be used by people, so the gemstone kits will help bring that learning to life.

I can't wait to help my students bring this unit to life. Thank you for supporting my students and their education.
