Help me give my students their very own drawing journal. Having a drawing journal will give my students an outlet to express and create content related to the ideas we are exploring in class.

My Students
My students come from every neighborhood in San Francisco and they represent the vibrant diversity of what makes our city special. And now that they are learning online for the fall, it is critical to make sure they have access to all the materials they need at home to continue to grow their creative and academic skills while we are apart.
My Project
Having access to journals & art-making will allow my students to be creative while learning from home. In the fall, my students and I will be engaged in topics related to immigration, social justice, and beyond. As we read and explore works like - "A Long Walk to Water," "Outcasts United," "The 57 Bus," and "Just Mercy," students will discuss and explore these critical themes through journaling and art-making along with essay writing as well. Their personal journals will play an important role in helping them understand their own thinking on these important and timely topics.
