it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in my 10th-grade English class have a difficult time putting their phones away during class, it is an absolute epidemic in classrooms today. Even well-behaved students have difficulty not checking their phone habitually every time they get an alert. This is truly impacting their learning.
Students will be given a directive to lock their cell phones in this cabinet, they can also charge them while they are inside.
This gives the teacher peace of mind that none of the phones will be stolen while the teacher instructs.
Many teachers utilize a simple pocket chart on the wall as the students walk in, but that opens the teacher up to huge liability if any of the cell phones are stolen or broken while they are in the pocket chart.
