My students need a listening center to help with their fluency. They need headphones for the center. They also need some books with audible CDs to listen to.
My students absolutely love to read and learn new things! They get so excited when we are reading. I want to have a center where they can go and relax and listen to a book. This would be perfect!
I teach in one of the highest poverty schools.
We are a title 1 school and all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. I currently teach a first grade inclusion glass. My class consists of ten male students and seven females students. The students are eager to learn new things and get so excited about learning!
My Project
My classroom does not currently have a working listening center nor do I have a comfortable place for the students to have one. This listening center would provide a perfect area for the students to be comfortable and listen to a story being read to them. They need headphones for the center. They also need some books with audible cds to listen to.
This center will provide a comfortable area for my students to go listen to a book being read to them.
This will help with their reading and their fluency. They love being read to and this will give them another opportunity to have a new book read to them.
