My Project
Dear Donors Choose Supporters,
I am requesting recess equipment for my class to encourage physical activity and social-emotional health, as well as support the development of students’ motor skills.
Access to equipment like balls, jump ropes, and skippers helps children burn off energy, which can lead to improved focus once they return to the classroom. By having appropriate and varied equipment, we can ensure that all my students have an opportunity to engage in play that suits their interests and abilities.
Additionally, recess equipment supports social-emotional learning by providing opportunities for teamwork, cooperation, and conflict resolution. When students play group games or share materials, they practice communication, negotiation, and problem-solving in a natural, low-pressure environment. Some of my students struggle to join in without structured tools or games, so providing the right equipment can help make recess more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
In requesting this equipment, I am advocating for a balanced school experience that supports both academic learning and personal growth. I appreciate your consideration of funding this project.
