Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am excited to begin teaching math and science to an amazing group of students. I can't wait to hear about their Summer break and the amazing learning opportunities we will have together. Please help me provide them with resources like the ECR4Kids Linking Book Bins, Pacon anchor chart paper, Kleenex Expressions Soothing Lotion Facial Tissues, and Magnetic Dry Erase Labels Name Plate Tags. As most of my students' families come from working class minorities, they can't always assist with classroom supplies. So, we encourage their families to help their children become college bound. I am especially looking forward to sharing ideas, using critical thinking to solve real world math problems, and having learning challenges that will build grit. By showing growth mindset in their learning, students will see that working collaboratively will lead to many possibilities to attend vocational training and/or college.
