This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are very creative, and we are very excited to learn how to make different products and run a school store. We have been lucky enough to receive a grant to get a GlowForge for our classroom. This was a great addition, but the grant did not cover the supplies to use with our new tool. With these supplies, my students will be able to create great items they can sell in our school store. Profits from these items will go towards buying more supplies for our students to use. Not only will my students learn how to create different products to sell, but they will get to learn about the day to day operations of running a business.

Learning life skills are a must!

Help me give my students the experience of running a day to day business. They will learn how to use a budget, collaborate, communicate, and problem solve. Having this opportunity will help prepare my students for future success.
