My Students
Students in our community have many barriers that stop them from engaging in the best education possible. As a title 1 school, our students depend on their teachers for many things outside of the basic needs in the classroom. Being in a socio-disadvantaged community these students deserve better.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students do not already have at home. Students were polled and asked what materials would they need at home and many don't have the basic needs to complete projects and actively learn while at home.
There materials are meant to supplement and encourage growth while students learn at home.
The materials included are headphones to block out noise and allows the ability to respond during class with the built in mic. The pencils, pens, markers, crayons, etc will allow students to work on science projects, history projects, and other various projects we would complete in the classroom. I am to engage students in meaningful work in the best way possible with the materials to grow and support them.
