My Project
Throughout the day, we are constantly learning. My students work extremely hard each day, so I like to reward them with prizes and rewards. Fidget toys, creative pens and pencils, and other small toys are a great way to motivate students to work hard to earn money for our class store. We also work on mastering math facts and to motivate them to strive for success they can earn a candy bar when they pass certain levels. I would also like to have a supply of snacks in my cupboard in a bag for emergencies. You never know when we may be evacuated or need to relocate, and I know food can be a comfort for most students if they are under stress from something that may be happening out of our control. I would like to have snacks available if it is needed. If there is not ever an emergency then I will use the supplies for my last class store of the year. All students love buying treats with their class money!
My students are outgoing, creative, determined individuals.
In order for them to become independent learners, I am constantly looking for new supplemental material to help them master concepts for math, grammar, comprehension, and science. A Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will give me access to this supplemental material to help all my students master specific concepts and material. They are becoming outstanding readers and they are reading often so they can participate in a school wide program called Battle of the Books. I would like to provide the books for this program in my classroom, so my students have access to them easily and can take them home to read so they can be successful on the day of the battle.
