This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our elementary school is an amazing school that is home to a very dedicated group of students, staff, and parents. We all strive to reach the best potential of each student through working together to meet their diverse needs.
My students are creative and motivated learners who work hard to meet or exceed the standards.
I want to provide them with the supplies they need to keep them engaged and excited about their learning. My hope is that what they learn in elementary school will inspire them to be lifelong learners.
My Project
My students need an LCD projector so that I can project my art lessons for every student to see in the classroom. I will be able to show works of art for us to analyze and discuss during our visual arts appreciation lessons. This projector will be the medium for me to display these pieces of art while connected to my computer. This is a great way to integrate the arts into my social studies curriculum as well.
This projector will allow my art lessons to come to life by enabling me to do directed-draw visual arts lessons.
When all students can see this art modeled for them, they are able to learn and apply the various techniques in a guided lesson.
