This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have not seen a self created computer generated activity on paper from the computer lab because we are limited on ink/toner.
When we go to the computer lab every week, my students are not allowed to print out activities.
Why? Due to our decreasing school budget, supplies such as ink/toner are very limited. Having a printer in our classroom, will give my students endless opportunities to print their own creations.
My Project
My students' will learn how to print out their own computer creations. Having a printer in our classroom will make learning exciting for all my students. My students' will get the opportunity to see their sentences in different fonts and sizes, they will also get to see their pictures printed in color, and simply print out an activity from our new reading program. We will have access to a printer the minute we need it. I will not need to wait for Mondays (our Computer time), recess, or lunch to use a printer.
Kindergarten students are so special because it's their first year in school.
Parents save everything that comes home in kindergarten. Imagine what parents will do with computer generated activities created by their child. In today's world a printer is essential. Everyone has a printer at home, but not US!
