I am a Special Education Teacher and I teach a self-contained fourth grade class. My students are ready to learn every single day they walk into the classroom. My school is a Title I school and students come from low income households, all students receive free breakfast and lunch. The students in my class come from Spanish speaking households.
Being a Special Education Teacher I want to make sure my students feel special every time they walk through the classroom doors.
My Project
I am requesting one iPad mini. In my classroom I have two chromebooks and two desk tops. By including the iPad mini I am able to have students complete different types on research on it. I also want to be able to download apps on the iPad and allow my students to use it and complete different educational games on it. One of the apps that I want my students to start using is flip grid. This app allows students to record themselves and share a picture. Their parents can scan the "QR" code on it and listen to their child's voice.
