My Project
Students learn best when they engage in hands-on activities. They love working with their hands and following instructions through learning by doing. They find pride in working in the kitchen and using various equipment and appliances.
My students are in a Special Education self-contained class that aims to improve their independence, functionality, and life skills.
As their teacher advocate, it is my goal to provide my students with every opportunity to reach their full potential as they explore new life experiences.
By participating in this science project, my students can practice measuring, timing, experimenting, following directions, and being creative. Many of my students want to learn how to run a business that they can use later in life as a career or as a side business to support their families, and they are very eager to practice the skills needed to be successful. As part of this project, they will be introduced to new opportunities, new careers, and a new mindset, and they will be able to surprise themselves with what they have accomplished so far.
