My Students

This year I have a class of funny, caring and hard working 5th graders. With the many setbacks that they have seen over the past 18 months with COVID, these 5th graders were still able to keep a positive attitude and came back to school with an attitude of "I can do it".

Using their "I can do it" attitudes, these 5th graders have made great strides in their learning and have surpassed even my expectations in such a short period of time.

It is my goal to cheer them on and keep them motivated as they continue to move forward in their quest to overcome any obstacles that sit in their way.

My Project

My 5th graders have so much to say to each other. The problem is that no one can hear what each other is saying, due to the loud fans and face masks that often block the sound of our voices. With a wireless microphone and speaker, my students are able to speak and be heard on the first attempt. No more saying "What did he/she say?" or "can you please repeat your answer?".

We've tried using a voice amplifier, but the feedback is awful.

Our class decided that our solution is to get a microphone with wireless speaker.
