Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I am teaching technology! While I'm teaching an array of grades, most of the classes are from PK-5th Grade. The majority of the school students are Hispanic/Latino, and many of them speak Spanish when they are at home.

This year, most of our students are joining classes remotely from their houses to stay safe through this epidemic.

Our students are economically disadvantaged and therefore are receiving both breakfast and lunch in school.

My Project

This project is to help support me with delivering my in-person lessons through my mask. The headphone microphone will allow my voice to come through loud and clear through the Promethean Board. This will not only help my students in the classroom, but it will also allow the students who are joining via zoom to hear my delivery.

Not only will this help my students hear me, but it will also help me preserve my voice so I can continue teaching without getting my voice strained day in and day out.

I am also asking for an assortment of pop-it fidget toys to limit my students' anxieties so they can stay focused on the tasks at hand.
