Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Freetime is important for every student during instruction. After a big lesson that's been taught to them, they are in desperate need for time to wind down and relax themselves without any strenuous structure. While we give our students the ability to play anywhere within our classroom, whether it be with magnet blocks, Lego puzzle pieces, reading a book, or even playing in a dollhouse. However, these students lack a place for dramatic play inside of the classroom. While the student's imagination is vividly open for them to enjoy themselves with what we have. We as educators noticed that in a way it's limited in regards to their peers in the classroom next to us.

That's where you as a donor come into play in helping our classroom thrive for not only this semester, but for future school years to come!

With your donation, we become a step closer towards reaching a goal not only for our current students, but also for our future students to enjoy the benefits of.

For the past year, I have worked with these students and watched them grow from toddlers who would ask for help and would play only a little bit, to young children who are hungry for learning to do things on their own, and want to have the best time of their lives when it comes to playing at school with their friends, or even us adults.
