My Project

Each year when we have our concerts and our annual student Showcase, to make it look and sound its best, the music department rents professional lighting and sound equipment from a production company. They also provide a technician to run it for us.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have lighting and sound equipment of our own that we could teach tech-minded students to operate for our shows?

Each year, students volunteer to operate the spotlights and have lots of questions about the sound and light boards. With more equipment of our own, we could offer a course in technical theater operation for interested students.
