This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Fluorescent lights are hard on our eyes and distracting for our students with sensory issues. For safety reasons and for students to be able to see clearly, lights must be kept on at all times. Low lights can cause students to strain their eyes and it can make it hard for students to be productive. Keeping all the fluorescent lights on causes headaches and glare on shiny surfaces that distracts students with sensory issues. Softer lights will help students to feel more comfortable in our classroom as we are learning.
