This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class loves learning about shadows and the phases of the Moon. WE really need a class set of quality flashlights. The flashlights will help us to explore light, shadows, phases of the moon and just reading during quiet reading time.

Kids love using flashlights because it sparks their imaginations.

I think flashlights in the classroom during Science and Reading are a great motivator.

Consider donating to our "light" project. I did included some Gail Gibbons books because she is a Master at teaching Science through her creative picture books.
