My Students

My PK students bring me joy because I get to see the world through the eyes of children. Everyday my students walk through the doors oready to learn and play with their friends. My students are curious, asking questions and exploring different topics throughout our classroom centers. As a teacher I enjoy creating opportunities to expose my students to new topics and taking time to explore their interests.

My Project

My classroom has a smart board that needs a new light bulb in order to work. I began this school year without a smart board, which was great after a year of virtual learning due to COVID. COVID continues to limit opportunities for classroom field trips. I look forward to using videos in class for virtual field trips and connecting with community members virtually. I also look forward to using the projection screen for movement breaks, access to e-books when a hard copy of a book is not available, and phonemic awareness songs and practice.
