This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Exposure to the life cycle of a plant opens up a wondrous world for students. I want my students to experience the magic of nurturing sprouts into beautiful healthy vibrant plants.

Hydroponics is a great way for students to experience viewing parts of a plant and track its growth.

Watching roots work their way through soil as plants push through the surface will also help to deepen their understanding of the time that it takes for the life cycle of a plant to reach various stages.

Toner for our printer is a necessity which has proven vital. Printing materials that students utilize throughout the year greatly assists them in processing the new work they are introduced to in our science lab. As I serve all of the classes in Kindergarten through fifth grade, I do a lot of printing!
