Help me give my students paper, pens, dry erase markers and erasers! We will use these items to practice low stakes writing. Teens love to write on things, so we'll use the markers on their desks!

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach 150 10th and 11th graders and they love the novelty of markers and erasers! I hope to maximize on their interest in doing "kiddie things" and sneak in some writing practice. Initially we'll brainstorm and outline on their desks using the dry erase markers and erasers. Then they'll move to drafting essays the traditional way using the lined paper and pens, I requested. I enjoy thinking of creative ways to keep my students engaged and learning. With all of these supplies and papers, I'll need someplace to store these things.

I'll use the organizers to keep our papers, markers and erasers tidy and easily accessible.
