My students need quality books! Fifth graders especially love the Dork Diaries Series, Guinness World Record Books, and I Survived Books. I want them to have access to their favorites in my classroom!

My Students

Our school is small and community-centered, and full of sweet kids who truly want to learn. This coming year, I will have close to 75 fifth graders visiting my classroom daily.

I truly believe that every single one of my students can succeed if they are given the tools to do so.

I want to provide my students with a variety of books in order for them to grow as readers as well as to encourage a love of reading.

My Project

My students need a variety of good books that they can choose from. I believe that one of the best things I can do for my students is to give them opportunities to read books that they find interesting.

By having access to good books, my students will be able to apply the reading skills they are learning as well as develop a love for reading.

I want even my reluctant readers to realize that they can have success and enjoy reading as much as the best readers in the class. These books are some that my past students have really enjoyed and I would love to have them in my classroom library.
