My Project

My 8th grade ICT students are a vibrant and curious group in Brooklyn. They bring energy, creativity, and diverse perspectives to our classroom every day. Every one of them deserves books that spark their curiosity and help them grow as readers. Many of our students are eager readers with diverse interests, while others, including students with learning differences, need extra support to reach their full potential.

This project will provide a wide range of books and literacy materials tailored to meet the needs and interests of all students in our classroom.

By offering engaging, high-interest books at multiple reading levels, we aim to strengthen reading skills, boost confidence, and foster a lifelong love of reading.

With your support, we can create a classroom library that celebrates diversity in reading, supports struggling readers, and empowers every student to become a stronger, more confident reader. Together, we can help our students unlock the power of literacy and critical thinking so they can be successful in the future.
