Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are creative, curious, and already ready to create. About eighty percent of the student body is eligible for free lunch.
My artists have been very excited about making 3D work including clay sculptures.
Only a select group of students have had the opportunity to create 3D pieces because unfortunately, we do not have enough storage for our pieces to dry. I want all my students to have the opportunity to create sculptures. We are wishing for collapsable storage shelves to dry our artwork, model magic to create the art and paint pens to finish our beautiful work.
