My students need the Osmo Genuis Kit and the Osmo Coding Set to introduce them to new and exciting ways to interact with technology.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Rusek's classroom raised $394

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach kindergarten students at a high-poverty school in New York City. My students are curious and have a great thirst for knowledge. My students do not have many learning resources at home and are faced with many challenges inside and outside of the classroom.
Despite these many challenges, I want to provide them with a classroom full of technology.
This is so important for a technology-filled society that we live in and it can benefit my students so much.
My Project
We live in a society filled with technology and its an important skill to know and have. I want to give my students that knowledge, to think creatively and to have a jump start into our tech-filled world.
The newest Osmo game, Coding, teaches logic skills and problem solving, and it helps kids succeed in an increasingly digital world.
Students control Awbie, a playful character who loves delicious strawberries. With each coding command, they guide Awbie on a wondrous adventure!
Its important to create tech-savvy students. Students are required to use higher-order thinking and problem solving skills in the classroom. I believe that the Osmo gaming system will enhance my students' learning and allow them to meet educational demands.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
