My Students

If you think back to when you were a kid, dodgeball was one of the highlights in class. I especially liked it when the teachers played the game as well. I want to give all students the chance to play.

I currently teach almost 300 7th grade middle school students in Iowa.

Our school is classified as a low income school which is a change from previous years. In order to motivate students, we offer AWTI days. These are all work turned in days and any student that has all their work turned in gets to participate. The favorite activity or most requested is dodgeball.

My Project

Would you please help by providing appropriate equipment to keep the students safe and allow them to be motivated to do their jobs. Having a couple of new sets of dodgeballs would allow for more than one class to participate in this reward activity at a time.

Help me to create a fun memory for the students that also rewards them for doing their job!!

Dodgeball is the perfect game to encourage students to complete their homework on time.
