My Project
My students work hard in the classroom and deserve a break to recharge. Recess is more than just free time—it’s an essential part of the school day where kids can move, play, and reset their minds. Where we live, the winters are cold and the springtime is rainy. To make the most of this time, we’re asking for your help to provide some games and activities to use during indoor recess.
The items in this project will help transform indoor recess from a simple break into an opportunity for cooperative play, emotional growth and social interaction.
The board games will help students build communication skills and practice taking turns. The puzzles will allow them to practice problem-solving skills and work collaboratively to achieve a common goal. The magnetic blocks will help teach early STEM concepts and encourage creativity. With your support, we can create a fun, inclusive indoor recess experience that keeps my students learning and laughing.
