This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students can learn so many skills through play. Students are very big on video games so i want to give them the opportunity to learn the board games. Playing traditional board games will help develop their social skills, sportsmanship & build trusting relationships with each other.
Students can spend time with peers by playing board games & engaging in meaningful conversations.
Students will learn how to have respectful conversations, how to cooperate with one another, and how to follow directions. Students will learn life lessons such as success and failure and how to cope with losing at something. Students learn about other people's perspectives through board games. The positive impacts that board games can have are endless. Some games teach them money & reading skills. Help me give my students the chance to develop these skills while also having fun learning.
